Maddy turned one on September 4 and we celebrated as a family that night before by going out to dinner out our favorite restaurant and then having cake afterwards. We had our neighbors Daryl, Candace, and their baby Charly over for cake.
Maddy really is such a fun girl, she has so much personality! She has already picked up a lot of attitude from her older sisters and is good at throwing herself down on the ground and crying if she doesn't get what she wants!! She has quite the squeal that she will let out when she doesn't like what is going on around her or to her by her sisters.
She gives the sweetest kisses and hugs and will rub my back and arm with her little hand when she first wakes up, wants a hug, or is ready for bed.
She loves to be on her own doing her own thing and doesn't like it when older kids try and pick her up or treat her like a "baby." She thinks she is way too big for those kinds of things!
She loves it when Daddy comes home and runs over to the garage door to wait for him and to get a drink from his mug.
She loves animals, but from a distance and doesn't like it when they get too close, especially if they are hyper.
She can eat a ton, which people are always surprised because she is pretty petite and she likes to eat almost everything, fruits, veggies, mostly whatever I offer her she will try.
Maddy always puts a big smile on our faces! She is such a sweetheart and we love her so much!

Becky, I can't believe Madelyn turned ONE!!! I just remember you having her last year. Did she have a good birthday? Where'd you go to eat?
