Wyatt's 3rd Birthday!

Holding up three fingers.

Look whose THREE!  I can't believe he is 3 years old, it has gone by so fast.  Wyatt picked to have crepes for breakfast, which everyone was excited about.  From the moment he woke up he just kept asking me if I was making his cake yet...that is all he really cared about.  We ended up having brownies, which he was fine with.  He was pretty excited about his new bike, hopefully he won't outgrow it over the winter but I think we bought it big enough he'll get some good use out of it.  We sure love all the great things about Wyatt, here are three of my favorite.
1.  He loves all the things the girls do (like ponies and Strawberry Shortcake) and all the things the girls could care less about, like swords, and tractors, and trains, and super heroes (except the girls love Batman because their dad does).  We love having the boy stuff around our house too.
2.  He is so thoughtful especially of me.  He already tells me if he thinks I look pretty, or if my hair looks nice, and is so quick to say he is sorry to me if he does something like step on me feet or run into me on accident.  
3.  I love to watch him with his dad.  They can wrestle and fight like nobody's business and I hope they continue to build a strong bond and will be great friends, they sure will need each other in the years of crazy girls ahead.  Oh, and I love that he looks just like his dad.  And, I love that he is passing Maddy up in height already.  I am sure one day he'll be taller than all my girls.  

We love you so much Wyatt!  Happy Birthday buddy!

Hadley's Blessing Day

 Hadley fell asleep on the couch before church while we were busy getting everything ready, it was so unlike her. :)

 Ryan and Melinda were the only ones from my side of the family that came, I am so grateful for their support and love.

Hadley's blessing day was a great day.  Hadley was especially easy that day and actually that night did a 10 hour stretch, her first and only time so far.  We had our smallest turn out yet, with many different factors contributing to that, but it was nice to have a small, more intimate crowd of those that truly care about us and our family.  Great Grandma Clayton, Wynn and family, and Jeff and family were there, along with some close friends like Angie, Nathaniel and Hilary, and Pat and Janille.  And of course Ryan and Melinda and Annie and Duncan, Jason and Bonnie, and Mark and Kathy.  I wish I could comment about the blessing Rob gave to Hadley, but for some reason I could barely hear what he was saying and couldn't understand him.  We are so grateful for our Hadley, she is such a blessing to us.  

Fall Break 2012

The girls had Fall Break and got to play with friends.  They played with Grace and Ava who are sisters Megan and Hannah's ages.  Then, Hannah's friend Natalie came over another day, and on Friday we met Laurie and her kids at the Pumpkin Patch.  The weather was slightly rainy and cold, so we were the only people there and we didn't stay very long, but the kids loved it.  Laurie and the kids came over for a while once we got rained out and I just love seeing Laurie.  We have so much in common and I love that she has remained a close friend of mine these last 4 years.
