The only thing we did for Art City Days this year was go on a hot air balloon ride (it was tethered to the ground). It was pretty exciting for the kids, but honestly we waited for 1.5 hours or more to take a 3 minute ride and I did not think it was worth it, but the kids thought it was pretty COOL! Poor Wyatt didn't even get to ride in it because they would only let 4 people in at a time so he stayed on the ground with one of the volunteers. The sound and heat from the heater they use to keep the balloon floating was really upsetting Megs and Maddy, especially Maddy. She wasn't too thrilled, but afterwards was excited to tell everyone about being in the big balloon.
