Hannah and Megan participated in the 1 mile fun run at Thanksgiving Point. They were so excited and I was so happy they loved it, maybe there will be race running together in our future! Hannah ran the mile in about 9:39 and Megan was just over 10 minutes. They practiced before hand by running around our block and Hannah had been running the mile at school a lot these last few weeks. It was a fun time and the kids really enjoyed all the goodies, like cookies and chocolate milk that they pass out after a race. They were so excited to get a metal too. They also got a shirt, which neither of them wore, but it will be a good work shirt. :) We'll be checking out some other fun kid runs this year hopefully too.

So fun! Let me know if you find any other kid runs. I'd love to see if Logan or Austin would do something like that. Good for those girls!! :)
