Student Talent Show March 27, 2014

 The only picture during the dance that Rob took, of course the camera card was full!

 Livia and Megan, the other girls had already left and Emily was sick and couldn't be there to perform.

 All we heard about for weeks was the talent show.  First try outs in the class, then try outs with Mrs. Barnett, and then getting ready for the actual big day!  Hannah did try out and her talent was drawing a picture of a horse, which she is very good at it.  She did not, however, want to be in the talent show and that wasn't the talent they were looking for exactly.  Megan and a group of 4 other girls wanted to do a dance.  So with the help of a friend's mom they picked some music, choreographed some moves, and we all took turns having over the rambunctious group for some serious dance practice.  The girls loved having play dates a few times a week for those few weeks.  The girls were Lexi Jarvis, Evie Shaw, Emily Marshall, and Livia Fischio, and Megan.  The song they danced to was "Happy" by Pharrell Williams.  The night of the show was March 27, a Thursday evening.  Only Grandma was able to make it, Grandpa got stuck in traffic.  Megan was so excited!!  And she wasn't very nervous.  I thought they might freeze when they got up on stage but they did great!  They rushed it a teeny bit but it was great.  She had so much fun and said she wishes the talent show was every week so they could perform it on stage.  It was so fun to see all the other cute kids in the talent show as well.  It was a fun show.
