March of the Penguins

Hannah was being so sweet to Maddy and lifting her up to see into the exhibits.
Excited about the fish!

Mason looking at the snake's head.

Megs all smiles!

All three of the girls, Hannah was pretty nervous even though she is our animal lover.

As tall as a penguin.

Man, could they swim fast!

On Thursday we went up to Sandy to attend a preview of the penguin exhibit that will be opening to the public on Friday. They did a special day for members only to go for the ribbon cutting ceremony and be the first to view the exhibit. It was busy but still a lot of fun and the girls loved the penguins! Hannah said the only sad thing was that there weren't any baby penguins, but hopefully with 5 males and 6 females they will have some babies in the future. They also had their giant anaconda out so that the kids could get a close up look and even pet it if they wanted, which they did. One worker was even walking around with a tarantula that Megan put her hand out to pet until they asked her not to! That girl has become fearless! The girls also loved it because they had cake that they served, which was really yummy!
