Clayton Christmas Party 2012

On our way to the party we stopped at Thanksgiving Point to pick up something and they had a few of Santa's reindeer there.  

We had the Clayton Christmas party at Wynn and Kay's house.  We had a great dinner followed by a visit from Santa and presents from Grandma.  All the kids except Hannah and Hadley sat on Santa's lap, but Maddy was a bit hesitant to do it.  Hannah refused just like last year, but later said she wanted to, but just was too scared or nervous I guess.  Hadley was asleep while he was there or I may have tried to get a picture of her on Santa's lap.  Megan and Wynn have this running joke/tease about broccoli.  He knows she doesn't like it and won't eat it and he always teases her about that.  Well at the party he had wrapped up some broccoli in a big old box and gave it to her to open, she was thinking it was her present from Grandma, and he sure got a kick out of seeing her open up the box and finding broccoli inside!  Megs was a good sport about it, and they were quick to hand her the real present, and she laughed about it though Rob and I both thought she looked to be on the verge of tears.  Santa asked everyone to sing Silent Night before he left and reminded all the kids about the Savior and the real reason for Christmas, I love that he does that.
