January 16, 2012-We woke the kids up at about 3:45 a.m. and loaded them up to make the drive. Rob likes driving in the early morning when its dark, he feels like that is "free" time, somehow it doesn't count until it is daylight. The kids actually fell back asleep and were quiet until we hit St. George where we stopped for breakfast with G&G and Annie and Duncan and the kids. We made one other stop for lunch and still got into California about 1:30 p.m. Our room wasn't ready for early check-in so we hung around the hotel and also found a pretty cool park that we played at for a little bit. After checking in we headed to Downtown Disney and had dinner at Rainforest Cafe. Mark bought a bunch of the volcano desserts to share, and they were really good! We then hung out at the lego store forever, the kids were having fun and it was warm inside. We then headed down to the plaza between the two parks and watched the fireworks from Disneyland. What we could see were pretty cool! Some were too low so there would be a lull in the show until we could see them again above the park.

You guys are die hards, thats early! Look like fun, Parker is dying to go to Disneyland!
