We started out the day by going to breakfast at the Saxey's house. We saw a lot of old friends and neighbors who were so excited to share in our news of adding baby #5 (some were a little incredulous)! It was great to visit with a lot of people we see once or twice a year is all.
The kids running up to Grandma and Grandpa's house!
We then went swimming at the Peter's house (neighbors of G&G) who are so generous and open up their pool to whoever wants to come. The kids loved it and had a blast swimming with the Christensen cousins.
Hannah and GUS, the Peter's dog. He is enormous, but such a sweet dog!
After swimming Grandma and Grandpa took us to see the movie Brave! It was a lot of fun, the kids loved it, even though is did scare Megan, she was crying a little in the scary parts. I think Maddy and Wyatt were scared too since they both ended up with Rob and I, so 5 of us were sitting in 2 seats, typical!
After the movie we had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's house and then headed down to the grass behind Target to get ready to watch fireworks.
She wasn't really asleep, but I couldn't believe she would wrap up in her blanket with how hot it was!
Megan got her hair stuck in the velcro on the stroller, she wasn't too happy about it.
It was a great day! The kids loved the fireworks and I love spending the whole long day together doing fun things! So tiring, but the best thing is the next morning Rob took Hannah to work because she was up bright and early and me and the rest of the kids slept until after 10:00 a.m.! That just never happens, it was awesome!
GOD BLESS THE USA!!
