On June 8 we headed over to participate in the Children's Parade. Thank goodness we met friends there, Mary stayed with the faster kids and I stayed behind with Maddy and Wyatt...we were a tad slow. They gave out a little ribbon and a snow cone at the end and the kids thought it was pretty cool! Then on Saturday, June 9 we went over to the Art City Days Parade (without Rob) and the kids loved the horses and the police motorcycles and firetrucks and collecting candy. It was pretty fun.. We didn't make it to the carnival or anything else this year with Rob being so busy at work but it is fun to do a few of the activities that go on that week.
