Beach Day

 First thing Monday morning we walked to the pier and did some fishing.  Jason had brought some poles and the kids had a go at trying to catch something off the pier, but no one was successful.  Then we headed back to change to go to the beach.

We played on the beach for a while, the kids ran in the waves and found shells and played in the sand.  The ocean water was so freezing and it was so funny to watch the big kids (the dads) run out and play in it, some were more brave than others...Rob was the wimpiest. :)  It was just so great to feel the sun and relax outside.  When the kids got tired of the sand we went and washed off and took them to the pool/hot tub and they swam forever.
